Highlanders want fans to fill up Stadium

Highlanders have appealed to its football fans to enable an electric atmosphere at Barbourfields Stadium when they face newly promoted Nichruit FC in Matchday 5.

The Bosso executive feels the time has come for football fans to rally back behind their team as they have embarked on their winning culture.

The youthful side under the guidance of Madinda Ndlovu has started on a high winning three of their opening fixtures while drawing one and are yet to taste defeat.

Highlanders CEO Nhlanhla Dube told the Chronicle that the fans should come in their numbers in their fortress.

“Let our supporters come in numbers and fill up Emagumeni,” said Highlanders chief executive Nhlanhla Dube.

Babourfields in the yesteryear was a no go area with fans filling up the stadium making it a hostile place for any visiting team. But over the years the team has seen slack performances which has chased away fans.
