FC Platinum coach happy after posting another win

FC Platinum caretaker coach Lizwe Sweswe has expressed his delight after registering their fourth win in the first five in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League. FC Platinum beat Chapungu 2-0 in an entertaining match at Ascot Stadium in Gweru on Sunday.

Two second half goals from Ali Sadiki and Gift Mbweti was all the Platinum Miners needed to ensure a win and another clean sheet. FC Platinum defence is yet to be breached in five league matches.

Sweswe told the Herald that he is happy with the progress his team has made so far.

“We have managed those four wins and a draw and for now we push on and see where we end up being at.

“I am happy with the way we have been playing so far and I can say we are on the right direction,” Sweswe said.

“During half-time we changed the way we were playing, I just told the guys “let us play our passing game”.

“Football is about scoring goals if you just have possession without scoring goals it does not help and I am happy we managed to get the goals and win the match,” He added.
