Tembo wants focus on remaining league games

SuperSport United caretaker coach Kaitano Tembo says his team is trying to focus on the remaining games so that they survive relegation at the end of the season.

United are currently on third from bottom with 27 points from 25 games, three behind Polokwane City who occupy the least safe spot.

“We always have to be positive because we are in this situation. We have to pick ourselves up and motivate the players and keep pushing,” Tembo told SuperSport TV.

“We are trying by all means to focus on our remaining matches. We take it game by game and not try put ourselves under pressure.

“We know where we are and we know what we need to do to get out of the situation. It’s also about getting that win and maybe that will take us out of the situation we are in.”

SuperSport United ‘s next assignment will be against Orlando Pirates on Wednesday.
