Chitembwe happy with Caps performance despite loss against Triangle

The Green Machine, Caps United suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Caps United in their Castle Lager Premier Soccer League fixture on Sunday but head coach
Lloyd Chitembwe was happy with the performance of his players.

“ . . . not really disappointed with the performance, we played good football in the second half. We did come strongly in the second half, we could have done far much better in the second goal in our defending.

“We are still within our targets, we have a long season. We need to train hard and correct some few mistakes, but the application from the players was good,” Chitembwe said.

Caps United rarely threatened to cause an upset at Gibbo Stadium despite dominating most of the play, suffering a first defeat of the campaign after Trevor Mavhunga and Lameck Nhamo scored either side of Joel Ngodzo equalizer to set up the victory.
