Mutasa hopeful ahead of Harare Derby

Dynamos coach Lloyd Mutasa is hopeful his team will pick its first win of the season in the Harare Derby.

With no win yet and sitting in the relegation, Dembare face another uphill task when they face CAPS United in a Match-day 7 fixture on Sunday. Another drop of points will pile more pressure on Mutasa and could potentially decide his future at the club.

According to Newsday, the coach believes the match would be the occasion when his team would finally turn around their fortunes.

“As a coach, you would want to come out victorious ahead of a derby match so that you have the confidence going in there,” Mutasa said.

“But in these derbies, it’s all about who is hungrier. We go back to training and see how the boys will be executing their duties. I think it’s another tough assignment in front of us, but I’m sure it would be the day that we break the jinx.”

CAPS, on the other hand, will also go into the match with their tails firmly tucked in, following a 2-1 defeat away to Triangle over the weekend.
