Ghanaian striker Steven Owusu is set to feature in Ngezi Platinum’s first-team squad after being granted a work permit.

The 23-year-old signed for the Madamburo outfit in January but, not qualifying for a permit, has since been training with the club missing the opening 6 fixtures.

The striker’s availability will boost Ngezi’s title aspirations as they seek to strengthen their options in attack.

Their coach Tonderayi Ndiraya believes his team only in second position due to an inferior is being let down by a pontent strikeforce. Currently strikers Terrence Dzvukamanja and Clive Augusto are joint top scorers on two goals apiece together with midfielder Xolisani Moyo.
