Nkhatha yet to sign new contract

SuperSport United striker Kingston Nkhatha is yet to sign a new contract.

The 32-year-old’s contract expires in June, and according to KickOff.com, club CEO Stan Matthews says the player’s future will be decided after the season ends.

“Kingston Nkatha’s contract is expiring,” said Matthews.

“We haven’t sat down with him in terms of a renewal, but that will also depend on the next three games.”

Nkhatha has struggled for game-time this season amid competition from the likes of Bradley Grobler, Thabo Mnyamane and Zimbabwean compatriot Evans Rusike. His teammates Morgan Gould and Reneilwe Letsholonyane have since extended their stay.
