I Will Silence Doubting Thomases: Mutasa

Under pressure Dynamos coach Lloyd Mutasa says he will use the Harare Derby against rivals Caps United on Sunday to silence those questioning his pedigree to lead the Harare giants.

Though slow starters, Dynamos are still to win a match in six matches managing only three points from three draws and losing three times.

“This is a match to silence the doubting Thomases. Although it’s not going to be easy, I am very confident that we are going to do well,” said Mutasa.

“These are the games that you don’t have to do much to psyche the players because they know what is expected of them in a derby. We might not have won in the past six matches but we are still a formidable side, and our targets remain to do better than what we did last year. I still want to prove that we can still do it, and we will catch up with the leading pack.”

Kuda Kumwala who is expected to lead the attack, got a major boost going into the Derby after he opened his goal account at Dynamos with an equaliser against Yadah last weekend. Caps, though favourites go into the match wounded from a narrow defeat to Triangle in their previous match.
