Shabanie Mine coach happy with performance despite loss

Despite falling 3-1 to Highlanders over the weekend, Shabanie Mine head Coach Takesure Chiragwi was pleased with their style play and the general performance of his team.

“We did very well, especially in the first half. There was pace in the first half. This is one game as a coach I’m not disappointed with because we performed well. We need to work on defending set pieces because we are conceding from that area,” Chiragwi told the Chronicle.

Shabanie gave away their 12th minute volleyed goal by Donald Makuwe to concede three against a determined Highlanders youthful side.

On general performance, even Bosso coach Madinda Ndlovu admitted to be put under pressure by Shabanie in the first half, but he acknowledged to have done well in the second half.
