Douglas Tanyanyiwa, the owner of former premiership side Douglas Warriors has died.

More details about his death are still to come, but readily available information is that Tanyanyiwa passed on this morning at the Avenues clinic.

Douglas Warriors gave a platform to a number of players that includes 2013 Soccer Star Tawanda Muparati, former Dynamos and Warriors striker Evans Gwekwerere, much-travelled goalkeeper Lovemore Makwavarara, Admire Dzvukamanja who went on to be an instant hit with Highlanders before fizzling out at Dynamos.

Raphael Manuvire is one of the players who also starred for Douglas Warriors, partnering Muparati in the midfield.
