Coach Lloyd Mutasa handed three-match ultimatum

The management of Dynamos Football Club has given the coach of the team, Lloyd Mutasa and his technical team, a 3-match ultimatum to win or face the ”exist door.”

This was said by Club President Kenny Mubaiwa after a meeting with the technical team.

Mubaiwa said the management and the technical team took the decision after a meeting to review the Glamour Boys’performance this season adding that it won’t accept poor performances from the technical crew any more.

It would be recalled that the Glamour Boys have not won any in their opening seven games including a 1-0 loss to Highlanders in the battle of Zimbabwe, 3-3 draw with Shabanie after giving away a 3 goal lead, another 1-0 loss to Ngezi Platinum and the most recent 1-0 defeat to Caps United in the Harare derby.

The current position of the team on the log is worrisome and the technical crew have been mandated to start its rejuvenation from the Bulawayo City game on Sunday at Rufaro Stadium. The other games will include tricky encounters against Chapungu away at Ascot Stadium in Gweru and another Harare derby against a rejuvenation Harare City.

Dynamos have struggled for flair and consistency this term after managing only three draws out of seven while losing four and are languishing in 17th position on the 18 team league standings.

The side’s 1-0 defeat to regional rivals Caps United has not helped matters for Mutasa who is now gasping for space as pressure continues to mount.
