Barcelona legend Andres Iniesta says he will leave the club at the end of the season.
The midfielder, 33, has made 669 appearances for the La Liga side over 16 seasons, winning 31 trophies with Barca and three major tournaments for Spain.
He has been an integral part of Barca’s team this season, scoring in the 5-0 Copa del Rey final win over Sevilla.
Iniesta said at a press conference on Friday afternoon: “This is my last season here. I have thought my decision through for a long time.
“For me, Barça is the best club in the world – this club has given me everything”
Andres Iniesta, capped 125 times by Spain, is set to play at this summer’s World Cup.
