Nichrut On A Mission To Stop Caps United

Encouraged by their victory away to Yadah last weekend, Nichrut say they want to follow it up with a win over Caps United at Ascot Stadium on Saturday.

The Midlands-based side has had a good start to life in the Premier League, and a win this weekend will rank as one of their best results this far.

“We know what we are up against. We are playing one of the best sides in the league, but we are equally prepared,” said coach John Nyikadzino.

“We might be new in the league, but the little experience we have is helping us. We have played big guns Highlanders and Ngezi Platinum and narrowly lost, but we learnt that it was mainly personal mistakes not that were outclassed.”

Nichrut have some players with top-flight football experience such as former Hwange duo of Farai Vimisai and David Boriwondo, Ocient Ncube formerly with Tsholotsho and Asani Nhongo who played for Monomotapa and Caps United.
