Highlanders shift focus to Mutare City

Following a defeat at Ngezi Platinum on Saturday, Highlanders have shifted focus to their next game against Mutare City on Tuesday.

The Bulawayo giants slipped to third after Terrence Dzvukamanja scored the solitary goal that condemned them to their first loss of the season.

According to The Chronicle, Bosso coach Madinda Ndlovu says they can’t let the loss affect their rhythm.

“We have since put the defeat behind us as we have already shifted our focus to our home game against Mutare City on Tuesday,” said Ndlovu.

“We cannot always complain about what has already happened. We are a team which is doing well, and we can’t let this minor setback affect our rhythm.

“Mutare City are a good side with a good coach who has a lot of impressive players at his disposal. We are approaching it as a must-win tie after this setback. The match will obviously be tough.”

The encounter is set for Barbourfields Stadium and kick-off time is 3 pm.
