Bulawayo City coach Darlington Dodo has become the first Premier Soccer League coach to be sacked this season.

The coach axing from Bulawayo City has come as no surprise to some as his team has been struggling for form in the league sitting dangerously second from the bottom. They have managed one win and one draw giving them 4 points out of a possible 24 in their eight league matches.

Former Under 20 coach Bekithemba Ndlovu will take over temporarily as they look for a substantive coach.

Speaking to the Chronicle, City chairman Jerry Sibanda said a decision will be announced tomorrow after meeting the coach who is away at the time of the decision.

City’s next hame will be against newly promoted Nichrut at Barbourfields Stadium on Wednesday.
