Madinda Ndlovu to miss Mutare City clash

Highlanders coach Madinda Ndlovu will miss the clash against Mutare City at Barbourfields this afternoon, according to NewsDay.

Ndlovu is attending his cousin’s burial in Binga, and assistant coach Mandla Mpofu will take charge of the encounter.

Club CEO Nhlanhla Dube confirmed the news.

“He (Ndlovu) lost his cousin and is travelling out of town,” Dube said.

“If he does not make it back, then it follows that Mpofu will be in charge for the game against Mutare City tomorrow (today).

Highlanders dropped to the third spot on the log-table after the Ngezi Platinum defeat, having gone seven matches without losing, but their record at Barboufields Stadium this season remains intact.
