Bulawayo City not in a rush to appoint substantive coach

Bekithemba Ndlovu will remain the interim coach of Bulawayo City for the mean time as the new management is not in any hurry to name a substantive coach.

City chairman Jerry Sibanda has disclosed to the Chronicle that despite his impressive show against newly promoted Nichrut, a game that ended 3-0 in favour of City, Bekithemba Ndlovu will remain the interim coach.

“Updates on the substantive coach will be announced on Monday afternoon. Our interim coach Beke (Ndlovu) will be in charge of the game against Chicken Inn; that’s where all the focus is being directed at the moment,” said City chairman Jerry Sibanda.

Bekithemba Ndlovu took over from Darlington Dodo who was sacked after a poor run that saw City go seven matches without defeat.

Ndlovu will take charge of City in his second match also hoping to impress leadership at Bulawayo City when they take on Chicken Inn on Saturday in a well poised Bulawayo Derby.
