Ndoro case finalised: Player receives ban, Ajax fined

The eligibility case involving Tendai Ndoro and Ajax Cape Town has been finalised.

Ajax Cape Town has been found guilty of fielding Ndoro in their league matches after the striker contravened FIFA statutes which don’t allow a player to feature for three clubs in a single season.

Ndoro played one game for Orlando Pirates before moving to Saudi Arabia and then came to South Africa in January.

The decision means the Urban Warriors have been relegated from the PSL after being docked points. SuperSport United will move up on the table to finish on the seventh position and Amazulu drop out of the top 8.

The Zimbabwe international has also been found guilty and will serve a two-match ban.
