Barca duo dropped as Portugal announce final squad for W.C

Former Manchester United winger Nani and Barcelona duo of Andre Gomes and Nelson Semedo have all missed out from Portugal’s final 23 member squad for World Cup.

Bayern Munich’s Renato Sanches, who spent this season on loan at Swansea, was also not selected along with Euro 2016 final hero Eder.

There are four EPL players in the squad – Manchester City forward Bernardo Silva, Leicester midfielder Adrien Silva, Southampton right-back Cedric Soares and West Ham midfielder Joao Mario, who is on loan from Inter Milan.

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo will captain the side.
