Kadewere attracts interest from German

Djurgårdens IF striker Tino Kadewere has reportedly attracted interest from German club Union Berlin which plays in the second division, 2. Bundesliga.

According to a Swedish newspaper, Expressent, the club sent its scouts who monitored the Zimbabwe international during the Svenska Cup final against Malmo two weeks ago. The player’s agent Blash Hosseini was also in attendance.

When asked by the newspaper about the report, Kadewere said it’s dream for every footballer to play for a bigger club, but his focus was on winning games with Djurgårdens.

“It’s everybody’s dream to attract interest from big teams, but right now I’m focused on what is happening at Djurgårdens,” Kadewere said.

“If that’s true, it’s motivating, and it pushes me to work even harder to draw more interest.

“At the moment, I want to score more goals for Djurgårdens, and God will take care of the rest.”

The 22-year-old has been enjoying a remarkable start to the 2018 Swedish football season. Kadewere has made 16 appearances in all competitions, scoring 8 goals.
