Highlanders and CAPS United will clash this afternoon in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Match-day 12 encounter at Barbourfields Stadium.
Today’s fixture is the second meeting between the two sides this year after they played in a pre-season Kembo Mohadi Cup in Bulawayo where Bosso emerged winners.
In the league, Tshilamoya last beat their bitter rivals in 2016, winning 1-0 in the first round of the campaign. Since then, the Green Machine has dominated the tie, picking up two wins and a draw.
Makepekepe centreback Dennis Dauda will be unavailable due to an injury along with captain Stephen Makatuka. Justice Jangano and Godwin Goriyati are likely to start in the central defence.
On the other hand, Highlanders’ Adrian Silla could return to the squad together with defender Tendai Ndlovu, but injured Nigel Makumbe is still out.
In Harare, Dynamos will be looking to stop FC Platinum’s dominance in recent years.
Since 2015, the Pure Platinum Play has never lost a match to Dembare. Last season they completed a double, winning 1-0 in the capital before cruising to a 3-1 victory at Mandava.
The Glamour Boys will be boosted by the availability of skipper Ocean Mushure who has been refusing to play in the last games, demanding his dues.
Elsewhere, Shabanie Mine host Chapungu at Maglas, Triangle face Black Rhinos at Gibbo and in Rusape Mutare City lock horns with Herentals.
