Mapeza aims to ease pressure in the title race

FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza is targeting to win all of his home matches to ease pressure when the title race heats up in the second half of the campaign.

The reigning champions are currently in the second position with 29 points, three behind log leaders Ngezi Platinum.

Speaking at a press conference today, Mapeza said: It’s important to maximise on our home advantage because the second half of the season will be difficult.

“We have to collect as many points as we can when we are playing at home.”

Pure Platinum Play who beat Dynamos on Sunday in Harare will face Nichrut on Thursday in their match-day 13 encounter at Mandava Stadium.

“Our preparations are going normal, the only difference is, we have few days before our game.

“I have respect for every team in the country, and I think John Nyiakadzino (Nichrut coach) has done well in the last two games.

“We just need to pick up maximum points,” he added.
