Dynamos coach pleads for patience

Dynamos coach Biggie Zuze believes his team can only get better after securing a draw in their midweek Castle Lager Premier Soccer League fixture against Black Rhinos.

The ailing Harare giants had to fight from a goal down to gain a vital point in the Premier Soccer League on Thursday.

The Glamour boys stand massively depleted following the exits of influential players before the start of the season and the young players assembled have failed to adapt to the demands of the league.

Biggie Zuze took charge of his third match and has managed four points out of a possible nine.

The coach however welcomes the challenge but says his team will need more time to get going in the Premier Soccer League.

Zuze was reacting to calls from some of the team’s fans who demanded his removal soon after Dembare’s 1-1 draw which follows a 2 nil loss to FC Platinum.

The fans staged a protest throwing missiles targeting the Dynamos’ technical area claiming that Zuze has failed to perform.

“I think most of the people would judge me with these three games but I think we should look at it from the perspective of where we are coming from. This is a very good point for us, the boys gave a very good fight and we know where we are coming from, especially the FC Platinum match.

“We need to give the players a bit of time. A lot of things have been happening in the last few days, especially the way we changed the coaches. But I think they are beginning to realise what we should do moving forward from now on,” said Zuze speaking to the Chronicle.

Dynamos are enduring a difficult season and are currently placed in 12th position with just 13 points 13 matches played.

They are trailing log leaders Ngezi Platinum by a massive 22 points. An unpleasant fact that is evoking more cries of dissatisfaction among the club’s fans.
