FC Platinum need to work harder: Harrison

Harare City coach Mark Harrison says Ngezi Platinum Stars are real contenders for the championship and FC Platinum will have to work harder to stay in the title race.

The Sunshine Boys lost 3-1 in a match played at Baobab Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Terrence Dzvukamanja scored the first goal for the hosts in the 17th minute before Keneth Bulaji doubled the lead ten minutes later. James Nguluve netted the third one a few moments into the second half while City got their consolation through Wilfred Muvirimi.

Speaking after the game, Harrison said: “I think they (Ngezi Platinum) are going to compete for the championship without any doubt in my mind.

“FC Platinum will have to work very hard to stay (in the race) with them because Ngezi is a top team.”

Harrison added that his side was a work in progress and they are hoping one day they will play like Ngezi, and win the league.

“We are still work in progress, and we want to aspire to win the league one day. They have got pace, they have got power, they are good in transition, and if you want to win the league, you have to be like that,” he said.
