Over 300,000 people have signed a petition demanding Sergio Ramos to be punished for his challenge on Mohamed Salah.
Salah was forced out with a shoulder injury during the Champions League final following a challenge from the Real Madrid defender, causing an uproar from across the football community.
No foul was awarded for the clash and Ramos’ intentions were unclear and may have been innocent.
But by 10 am CAT today, more than 300,000 people have flocked to sign the petition – which calls for action to be taken against the Spaniard.
Meanwhile, Ramos has since apologised to Salah via Twitter saying: “Sometimes football shows you it’s good side and other times the bad. Above all, we are fellow pros. Get well soon Mo.”
