Swedish based star Tinotenda Kadewere has departed for international duty, his club Djugarden has confirmed.

His performances in the Djurgården squad has not gone unnoticed by national team coach, in preparation for the COSAFA Senior Men Challenge.

Kadewere currently leads the Swedish Allsvenskan top scorers charts with eight goals and the club will have to cope without their star until at least the 18th of June.

The Club Boss Bosse Andersson confirmed the departure on the club’s website.

“Tino went on Monday to join the Zimbabwean national team and come back to join the team at Kaknas on June 18th.

“He is getting a bit of leave because he is away with the national team, and also Jonathan Augustinsson and Hampus Finndell who play for the U21 and P18 national teams, who also start training.”, Bosse Andersson said.

Zimbabwe goes directly into the quarter final of the COSAFA Cup final.
