FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza has urged the fans to avoid violence during the league clash against city rivals Shabanie Mine on Saturday.
The first instalment of the Zvishavane Derby will be played at Mandava Stadium where Pure Platinum Play are yet to lose a game this season.
Speaking to the reporters on Thursday, Mapeza said: “It’s a big match for the Zvishavane community, but I m pleading to the fans to avoid violence. As coaches, we know there is always a win, loss or a draw. Whatever the result that will come, let’s all accept it.”
With three points behind log leaders Ngezi Platinum, Mapeza added that he was not under pressure ahead of the game.
“We don’t want to put ourselves under pressure. Our focus is to play our best football. We will be happy with the result that we will get,” said the coach.
