Ndlovu, Dube Leaves Mutare City

Tafadzwa Dube and Themba Ndlovu have parted ways with Mutare City over unfulfilled contractual agreements.

The experienced duo of Dube and Ndlovu who have seen action at a number of Premiership club’s, have been boycotting matches recently in protest over unpaid salaries and allowances since the start of the season.

A number of senior players including veteran Evans Chikwaikwai have been refusing to play matches in protest.

The Mutare City boat has been rocked by turmoil due to the financial crisis and rumour mongering which first saw assistant coach Kenny ‘Bocande’ Kachara fired as he was believed to be ‘bewitching’ the team.

This week the team fired coach Joseph Takaringofa over poor results with Chapungu coach Rodwell Dhlakama tipped to replace him.

City anchor the log standings with just one win from 14 matches.
