Lesotho will tonight stand in the way of Zimbabwe in the former’s quest to their 2018 COSAFA Cup Final.

The Warriors will seek to build on their win over Botswana and cause an upset at the new Peter Mokaba Stadium in a repeat of last year’s semi final.

In that duel the Warriors beat Lesotho 4-3 in a seven-goal thriller at the Moruleng Stadium, in South Africa, on the way to an unprecedented five COSAFA titles.

The Warriors have dominated Lesotho in previous encounters and have a good record against today’s opponents.

The two nations have met 19 times with the Warriors losing only once to Lesotho. Zimbabwe has won a massive 15 games while four matches have ended in draws.

The Warriors only defeat to Lesotho came in 2001 in an AFCON qualifier.

In the Cosafa Cup the two sides have met seven times with Zimbabwe winning five times and drawing once against Lesotho.
