Sergio Ramos is having none of the blame game for Liverpool’s injuries

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has hit back at critics of his tackles on Liverpool duo Mohamed Salah and Loris Karius in the Champions League final.

The Spain international has been accused of performing an illegal challenge on Salah, resulting in him suffering a serious shoulder injury, and concussing the German goalkeeper during a collision.

Ramos, however, has rubbished such allegations and claimed that both incidents have been blown out of proportion.

“Bloody hell, it’s all been blown out of all proportion,” AS quotes him as saying. “I didn’t want to talk but everything gets magnified.

“[Salah] pulls my arm first, and I fall on the other side. Then when his other arm is injured, they say that I’ve done a judo move on him. Then the goalkeeper says he is concussed after a clash with me.

“Now it only needs [Roberto] Firmino to say he got the flu as a drop of my sweat fell on him.”

Real won the match 3-1 to claim their third Champions League title in a row.
