Bafana Bafana thumped Botswana 3-0 to be crowned Cosafa Cup plate champions at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Friday evening.

The host nation failed in their bid to win Cosafa Cup crown, losing on penalties against Madagascar in their quarter-final clash. Bafana aimed to salvage some pride after getting to the plate final with a 4-1 victory against Namibia.
