Preview: CLPSL Match-day 16

The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League continue this afternoon with a top of the table clash set for Baobab Stadium Stadium.

Log leaders Ngezi Platinum Stars will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways against FC Platinum after their fourteen-match unbeaten run came to an end last weekend. The defeat cut the gap on top to put them level on 38 points with their opponents.

The Mhondoro-based side will be without some of their influential players. Striker Terrence Dzvukamanja is in South Africa with the Warriors while goalkeeper Bernard Donovan is suspended after accumulating three yellow cards. Xolisani Moyo and Clive Augusto are serving red card bans.

FC Platinum, on the other hand, will miss Kevin Moyo who is also on national duty.

The last meeting between the two sides at Baobab Stadium ended 2-1 in favour of Ngezi.

In Harare, CAPS United host Bulawayo City. Joel Ngodzo is set to return after he missed the last two games with an injury.

At Luveve, Chicken Inn play against Herentals. Archmore Majarira will not feature for the Students due to suspension.
