Preview: CLPSL Match-day 16

Dynamos will be hoping to bounce back from last round defeat at Triangle when they face Mutare City at Vengere Stadium in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Match-day 16 encounter.

The Harare Giants have failed to maintain consistency in this campaign, and they find themselves in the 13th position with 14 points. Their last win came in round 11 against Bulawayo Chiefs.

Rovers, on the other hand, are equally troubled as they are rooted in the relegation zone with 11 points. The Eastern Highlands side picked up a famous victory against CAPS United last Sunday.

Dembare captain Ocean Mushure is not available, serving a red card ban while his vice, Obey Mwerahari will need to pass a late fitness to take part in today’s game. Goalkeeper Tonderai Mateyaunga is also doubtful after missing the last game with a shoulder injury.

At Barbourfields Stadium, Highlanders face city rivals Chiefs in the Bulawayo derby.

Bosso have never lost a match in their last five games, winning two and drawing on three occasions. They beat Harare City away in their previous fixture.

Amakhosi also picked up a victory, beating Ngezi Platinum at home.

Elsewhere, Shabanie will be looking to overturn their misfortunes when they lock horns with Black Rhinos at Maglas.

Alexis Sijoni who was recently roped in as an assistant coach is likely to take charge of the Chinda Boys’ Match-day 16 encounter following the departure of Takesure Chiragwi.
