Barely 24 hours after the Warriors beat the Zambia national team to lift a record sixth senior men Cosafa title, the women teams will lock horns again this afternoon at Rufaro Stadium in a crucial final second leg AWCON qualifier.

Zimbabwe carry a narrow 1-0 first leg lead from the match played in Zambia.

According to the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), the senior women team will have an opportunity to salvage Zambian pride after the Chipolopolo were defeated by Zimbabwe in the Cosafa Castle Cup final on Saturday.

Zambian coach Bruce Mwape who jetted in the country on Thursday for the match said he has thrown everything in the bag to ensure that result is reversed.

The match is scheduled for 1500hrs at Rufaro Stadium and the winner over the over two legs qualifies to the 2018 Ghana Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted by Ghana in November.
