Report: Two S.A clubs interested in Devine Lunga

Chicken Inn left back Devine Lunga has been linked with ABSA Premiership sides Kaizer Chiefs and Golden Arrows.

According to Soccer Laduma, Chiefs were impressed by Lunga during the just ended 2018 COSAFA Cup held in South Africa’s Limpopo Province.

The defender featured in all Warriors’ three games, helping the national team clinch the title for the 6th time.

A local publication, H-Metro also reported that Arrows were interested in the player.

Chicken Inn spokesperson Tavengwa Hara confirmed to the newspaper the KZN-based outfit enquired about Lunga.

“Yes, we have a letter requesting for him to go for trials, but we have not decided to let him go as we prefer clubs ready negotiations,” he said.

“The player was playing at COSAFA along with some of the country’s best talent, and if a club likes him, they should make a decision from that.”
