Mutasa rules out wholesome changes

Returning Dynamos coach Lloyd Mutasa has ruled out wholesome changes to the squad during the mid-season transfer window which opens in two weeks time.

Mutasa will take charge of his first game tomorrow since his reappointment three weeks ago when they host Nichrut at Rufaro stadium. The gaffer had missed two matches against Triangle United and Mutare City Rovers as he was with the Warriors at the Cosafa Cup in South Africa.

“In football, there are a lot of factors that affect the results as players cannot be bad overnight. It is the job of us coaches to give them confidence and also for the players to be motivated. These are the same players that did well last year, and what is just needed is a breakthrough,” said Mutasa.

“Of course we might have one or two players coming in, but I still have faith in the group of players that are there. We need to rise once again, and we need to get another win to boost the confidence of the players.

“Nichrut have already spoken in the press that they are coming to try and get a win against us, so we have to prepare well.”

First choice goalkeeper Tonderayi Mateyaunga is still out nursing an injury while versatile Phakamani Dube is recovering from the injury picked up in the match against Mutare City last weekend.
