Egypt exited the World Cup on Wednesday after Uruguay ended their slim hopes with a 1-0 victory over Saudi Arabia in Group A.

Saudi Arabia also get the boot leaving their last clash with Egypt being just for pride.

A 23 -minute goal from Luis Suarez was enough to give Uruguay a narrow win, which lifted his team to the round of 16 along with hosts Russia.
