Ndoro parts ways with Ajax

Ajax Cape Town have confirmed the departure of Zimbabwe international Tendai Ndoro.

Ndoro joined Ajax in January this year after moving from Saudi Arabian team, Al Faisaly.

In statement posted on their website, the Cape Town-based side said they have decided to release the player.

The statement reads:

The Urban Warriors have officially parted ways with Tendai Ndoro.

Ndoro’s contract was up for renewal at the end of this month (June 2018); however the club have opted not to extend his stay at Ikamva.

The club would like to wish Tendai all the best in his future endeavours and thank him for his services over the past six months.

The former Chicken Inn man’s spell at the Urban Warriors was marred by controversy after he breached a FIFA rule which prohibits a player to feature for three clubs in one season. He received a ban and Ajax Cape Town were docked points for fielding an ineligible player.

The deduction of points left them on bottom of the table and were relegated from the league.
