Mutasa worried about Mushure as Dynamos, Epoupa start negotiations

Dynamos coach Lloyd Mutasa is worried following captain Ocean Mushure’s absence from training.

Mushure has been boycotting training in the past month to press for his outstanding payments. The Glamour Boys are reportedly struggling to pay off their skipper his signing-on fees totalling $24 900.

In an interview with The Herald, Mutasa said they are trying to get in touch with Mushure who has gone AWOL.

“We have been trying to get hold of him, and the manager has been trying to look for him as well, but he is nowhere to be found,” he said.

“It’s something that is worrisome considering that he is the captain of the ship. Certainly, you will be disappointed to see your charges not coming to work and more if you look at Ocean Mushure, he is a leader.”

Meanwhile, the Glamour Boys are also making efforts to bring back Cameroon international Christian Epoupa Ntouba who returned to his home country after a fall-out with the previous executive.

“I can confirm we have been in negotiations with him. Remember he still has a running contract with us which ends in December.

“It’s unfortunate what happened in the past, but now we have a new dispensation, so frantic efforts are being made to try and get him back,” secretary-general Webster Marechera revealed.

Epoupa played a pivotal role in Dynamos’ campaign last year, scoring 12 goals which helped the side finish second in the title race.
