Pakamisa joins Nichrut

Washington Pakamisa has joined Nichrut on a short-term contract as the Shurugwi based side seeks to bolster its squad and avoid relegation.

Pakamisa is one of the senior players that have left cash-strapped Mutare City along with Tafadzwa Dube and Themba Ndlovu who has since completed a move to Nichrut.

A source at the club says the former CAPS United and Dynamos player signed a contract to help the team stay in the Premiership.

“They want experienced players to lead the line and offer guidance to the youngsters in the second half of the season. Not that the young players at the club were bad, but there were times they lacked experience and the coming in of Pakamisa and Rodrick Mutuma will help up-front,” said the source.

Shabanie Mine utility player Carlos Rusere who can either as a striker or defender is also strongly believed to be on his way to Nichrut despite reports linking him with trials at South African side Black Leopards.
