England captain proud of win

England captain Harry Kane was proud of his team’s performance after they beat the Sweden to secure a semi final berth at the World Cup in Russia.

Though the skipper was not on target, he still remains the tournament’s top scorer. England won through headed goals from Harry Maguire and Dele Alli.

Speaking after the match, Kane said the camp is in delight as they await their opponent ahead of Russia clash with Croatia.

“We know there’s still a big game ahead: the semi-final. But we’re feeling good, we’re feeling confident,” he told reporters during England’s post-match press conference.

“We just have to go again. I know the fans here, and the fans back home – we’ll see some videos later – are enjoying it. We just want to make the country proud.”
