Preview: CLPSL Match-day 19

Ngezi Platinum Stars will be looking to end their winless run when they host Triangle United at Baobab Stadium this afternoon.

Madamburo have gone for four consecutive matches without picking up a point and are in the second position with 38 points. United moved 32 points on third following their 5-0 triumph over Shabanie Mine in the previous round.

The Sugar Boys will miss the services of key defenders Arnold Chivheya and Donald Dzvinyai who are serving a suspension for accumulating three yellow cards. Ngezi will also be without their striker Clive Augosto.

Log leaders FC Platinum are also in action, playing Yadah away at National Sports Stadium.

The reigning champions suffered a defeat in their last game when they lost 2-1 to ZPC Kariba. The loss was their second in this season and first home defeat since June 2016. They will be hoping to turn around their fortunes this afternoon, and new signing Thomas Chideu is available for selection.

The match will be broadcast live on ZTV.

Elsewhere, Chicken Inn host Nichrut at Luveve Stadium while across the city, Bulawayo City clash against Harare City at Barbourfields.

ZPC Kariba welcome Black Rhinos at Nyamhunga as Chapungu lock horns with Mutare City in Gweru.

Meanwhile, all games will kick-off at 1 pm to avoid counter-attraction with the World Cup game between England and Belgium.
