Report: Mbappe to give $500k W.C earnings to charity

Kylian Mbappe is set to donate his entire World Cup earnings to a charity that organises sporting events for children with disabilities, according to reports from France.

The teenager, who was voted best young player at the tournament, reportedly earned about US$22,300 per game in the tournament and an additional US$350,000 for helping his country lift the World Cup trophy on Sunday. His total earnings at the competition are believed to be slightly more than US$500,000.

Mbappe is now planning to give all the money to Premiers de Cordee, an association that organises sporting events for children with disabilities.

Meanwhile, the 19-year-old became the first teenager to score in a World Cup final since Pele in 1958. He netted four goals in total, in seven appearances.
