FC Platinum failed to beat CAPS United again, but coach Norman Mapeza was happy with the result.

Pure Platinum Play last beat the Harare Giants in 2014 and yesterday they played to a goalless draw at Mandava Stadium.

Speaking after the match, Mapeza said: “I am happy with the draw, the game was played in a fair spirit.

“This was a good game of football and Caps United played well, but they created few chances. We always play for three points, but we have to accept it (draw).”

FC Platinum, however, are yet to pick up maximum points in the second half of the season. They drew in their last game after losing 2-1 to ZPC Kariba in what was their first home defeat since June 2016.
