Runaway Eastern Region Division One league log leaders have offloaded veterans Jacob Muzokomba, William ‘Munhu’ Mapfumo and Edgar Tapera as they prepare for the final onslaught of the championship campaign.

Mapfumo and Muzokomba who have played for a number of local premiership clubs for more than a decade are paving the way for some young players with Tinashe Chigede coming in from Shabanie Mine while Tatenda Kureti was signed from fellow Division One side, Surrey.

Manica Diamond, meanwhile, have opened a nine-point gap at the top of the Eastern Region Division One league and with their financial muscle, they are firm favourites to win the championship.
