Dynamos divided over Mutasa

The new Dynamos executive is divided over the fate of coach Lloyd Mutasa with some arguing that he is not going to turn around the fortunes of the club.

New club president Solomon Sanyamandwe is one of those in support of Mutasa, and his argument is that the coach cannot be judged by the calibre of current players, a view that has been shot down by others.

“The situation is that the president is supporting Mutasa but others are saying even if the quality is bad, the team cannot be where it is at the moment. They argue that Mutasa has failed and has surrounded himself with incompetent assistants and his team selection has also been bad based on emotions,” a source told Soccer24.

Dembare are just three points ahead of the team that is holding the last relegation slot.

Mutasa has refused to offload any of his players with Brett Amidu returning on loan from FC Platinum being the only notable inclusion during the midseason transfer window.
