Local giants want Nkhatha

Dynamos are looking to add a striker in their squad before the transfer window closes on Tuesday.

The Glamour Boys failed to convince Cameroonian Christian Epoupa to rejoin the club and are now targeting to sign Kingston Nkhatha who is a free agent.

Nkhatha was released by South African side, SuperSport United at the end of June following the expiry of his contract.

According to Sunday Mail, a deal could be completed anytime soon before the next Sunday’s clash against Highlanders. Club president Solomon Sanyamandwe did not give away much but fell just short of confirming the move.

“I think the best person to talk to is our chairman (Isaiah Mupfurutsa), he is the hands-on guy but what I can say is it’s true we are chasing him (Nkhatha), and a deal could be thrashed soon.

“Our coach Mutasa indicated that he wanted a top striker and we need to support him as the executive by giving him what he wants,” Sanyamandwe told the newspaper.
