Another club snubs Chirambadare

Black Leopards have reportedly become the latest team to snub Edmore Chirambadare.

The winger who is a free agent after he was released by Kaizer Chiefs at the end of the previous season underwent trials at the newly promoted side with a hope to sign for the club.

A few weeks ago, Chirambadare also tried his luck at Maritzburg United but a deal could not meterialise.

According to The Citizen a South African newspaper, coach Joel Masutha was impressed by the Zimbabwe winger, but the problem was that Leopards have filled their foreign quota.

“Coach Joel Masutha was impressed with him. He made a good impression on the coach,” a source told the publication.

“The problem was opening up a foreign spot in the club, and they couldn’t do that.

“Masutha was ready to sign him and was disappointed to have to let him go because they didn’t have a foreign spot available for him. So he had to leave the club.”
