Misfortune seems to be following talented striker Simba Nhivi after he dislocated his arm at training with his new club Ngezi Platinum which might rule him out of this weekend’s fixture.

Nhivi was due to make his debut for Ngezi against Nichrut on Saturday.

An official at Ngezi Platinum, however, downplayed the injury saying it was minor.

The forward has failed to reach the potential he showed when he burst on to the scene with Shooting Stars as a student at Pamushana High School before moving to Caps United.

A big move to Mamelodi Sundowns saw him suffering an injury early into his career at the South African giants leading to the termination of his contract. He returned home and put a stellar performance with Dynamos which attracted interest from another Pretoria based side Supersport, but again the script was the same as at Sundowns.

Nhivi’s spell in Tanzania saw little success and he rejoined Caps United at the start of this season.
