Report: Prince Dube now clubless

Prince Dube is now a free agent after South African side SuperSport United offloaded him at the end of last month, according to The Chronicle.

The 21-year-old striker is currently in talks with his former club Highlanders and could sign a deal provided the Bulawayo giants still have a slot available in their squad.

Dube’s agent Gibson Mahachi confirmed the developments to the newspaper.

“Yes, the boy is back home after we reached a mutual agreement with SuperSport United to terminate his contract, which happened before the closure of the Zimbabwean transfer window,” said Mahachi.

“At the moment, we are in talks with Highlanders with a view to having them take him back, but of course, that will depend on whether or not they have a slot in their books.”

Bosso added three new players to their squad during the second transfer window and might be forced to lay off one player to accommodate Dube if they are interested in him.
